Don'ts:
I don't like getting up early in the morning.
I don't put milk and sugar in my tea.
I don't wear black . . .it's too harsh.
I don't like to fly.
I don't drink alcohol . . . it tastes bad.
I don't have a cell phone . . . don't need one; don't want one.
I don't believe in distinctions between people, races, creatures.
I don't understand greed.
I don't know how to do a cartwheel.
I don't like cilantro or amusement parks or loud noises.
I don't have a desire to travel.
I don't fear death.
Dos:
I do like to sit quietly and watch birds and butterflies.
I do like chocolate.
I do believe that plants are sentient beings.
I do love sending and receiving letters.
I do like cats.
I do sing more than listen to music.
I do prefer fiction over non-fiction.
I do enjoy mascara and lipstick and a good haircut.
I do appreciate fine old things: typewriters, vinyl records, postcards . . .
I do have the heart of a hermit.
I do believe that selfishness leaves no room for peace.
I do hope, always, for happy endings.

DeleteHello Susan, right now I don't have a blog. Technology is not a strong point for me. I have thought often of trying to start one. I think it would be a interesting way of recording life's happenings. When I do get the nerve to attempt one I will let you know. Lisa
DeleteHi Lisa, blogger makes it pretty easy to start a weblog. The toolbar for writing a post is similar to email. I am not a highly technical person, either. I often have to ask for help from my kids just to work the t.v.!

The book you mentioned about the Shaker community sounded interesting so I checked our library website and they have a copy which I have reserved.

Hi Anne! Thank you for the kind words about my photos. No, I haven't finished the story yet. I do want to finish it, but I haven't been able to focus on it at all. My oldest daughter has been going through some serious health problems, and I have been dealing with some of my own, as well. It has been a very stressful summer so far! I hope to at least find my way back to blogging again, but even that has been challenging. It is so good to hear from you! I miss you ♥. Somehow, I lost track of your blog. I am going to add it to my reader right now!
