It's all a confusing mix of sunshine and rain in my life right now, but these things are holding me together:

  • flowers everywhere
  • soft brown rabbits (indoors and out)
  • the daily routine of lessons, housework, and meals
  • reading thrilling stories when I can't sleep
  • walks in the woods
  • noticing all of the yellows, greens, and pinks in the spring landscape
  • blogs that show me something real about a person's life: your cat, the dress you are making, your kitchen workspace, the happy day you had house hunting, the delicious cake you served at your book club
  • hanging out with my kids
  • singing along loudly to old Beatles' songs
  • laughter
  • going through my yarn stash and finding beautiful sock yarn in a perfect forget-me-not blue
  • watching seeds sprout in the garden
  • this cake

  3. I'm glad you have so much goodness to help you :) It sounds like a wonderful life ... although I do wish for good weather (literal and figurative) for you, my dear.

And forget-me-not blue is my favourite colour.

  4. Your bunny is adorable. We have one, Tallulah and I wouldn't mind having another.
I have seeds sprouting everywhere too, it's great.
I hope you are having a nice weekend and I will be thinking of you every time a Beatles song plays. :)

  6. Beautiful forsythia! Some rain is necessary in life and nature, but I hope sunnier days are finding you now. Music, time in nature and with family, the comfort of pets and home and good food -- I can't think of better things to nourish your soul. Hugs.
